This image is the most asked about of any I have captured. It was taken at  Windows In the Earth, near Española, New Mexico. Sculpted out of a sandstone cliff by an artist named Ra, it is a series of small cathedral-like chambers literally carved from the inside of the earth. It has the feel of the ocean in the midst of the high desert, and you are standing in layers of time. I had a magical moment at Summer Solstice in the time of a full moon. And I am grateful that I captured the spirit of this place.
