DONKEY LOVE
Texas Hill Country

While traveling back and forth to the art show in Kerrville in the springtime, our path took us along wonderful creeks and back roads, and one particular road was blessed with Longhorns and the most winsome donkey. We promptly fell in love with her, and the feelings seemed entirely mutual. We all wanted to bring her back home with us, even if she was much better off where she was. But we were sure we'd miss seeing her every day, and what would she do without the carrots and goodies that we brought her on our commute. Maybe we'll see her again next year. I hope so, and I hope she hopes so, too.
