GOIN' ROUND THE BEND
Horseshoe Bend, Colorado River - Northern Arizona

Oh but we had an early morning photo shoot scheduled, and we tromped up the sandy incline to a precipice we didn't even know was there. There's nothing quite like being up before dawn, awaiting the gifts of the sun, wondering what the day will bring. But when the sungod bestows upon you the illumination of a sight such as this, the results are breathtaking. As light began to reveal the scope of what lay beneath us, and the rocks began to glow in pink, and all of the palette of colors came to life, I was once again in awe of the miracles and bounty granted us by Mother Earth, and Father Sky, and grateful to be there to see it.
